Hi, my name is Stuart Robinson.
I’m a nerd/geek/dork whatever you want to call me. Maybe I have an unhealthy obsession with technology, maybe I don’t, who knows.
I am on my way to become an IT professional.
I just started this blog, hoping to chronicle my journey as I make my way through my Cisco certifications.
I plan to move up the ladder in Cisco, as well as the ladder of an employer that is looking for a motivated employee that is wanting to be of significance in IT.
I plan to start with my CCNA and move up:
CCENT/CCNA/CCDA > CCNP/CCIP/CCDP > CCIE
I also wish to pursue a few certifications outside of Cisco to broaden my horizons a bit more:
MCITP, VMWARE, JNCIA.
At the moment:
Where I came from:
I originally was born in South Africa, and since then have come a long way. I moved to the United States in 1997, so I have been here quite a while.
I have been on a 3 year on and off battle with cancer. I have been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. At the moment, I am in remission, as I have been for 3 different tiers of chemo regiments and I’ve never felt better.
I did have a brain tumor, which was from the HL, however it was quite rare. It did almost kill me as it hemorrhaged after I had it diagnosed.
I must say, that throughout this I have had great support from friends and family and am looking towards a very bright future.
Look to all my connections, which can be found at the bottom of my page and on my Contact Page to see more about me on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.
